Global Dignity Day 2014 was celebrated in over 60 countries around the world, reaching more than 350 000 youths.
Gutsy young people shared their dignity stories with one another, discussing what they can do to turn their own lives around and improve the lives of others. Stories revolved around identity, courage, bullying, helping out others in a difficult situation and more.
A wide range of activities were carried out in different countries. Many students wrote letters to themselves about what they will do to strengthen the dignity of others in the coming year. The letters were collected, and will be returned to the students at the end of the year. Other students wrote about what they want to do to improve the school environment.
