“The spirit of Ubuntu is very difficult to render into Western language. It speaks of the very essence of being human. You are generous, caring and compassionate. It means that my humanity is bound up in yours,” and  embodies the ideas of community, connection, caring and kindness.”

Bishop Desmond Tutu

Through Global Dignity Day gatherings and workshops, you can help the next generation tap into values of kindness, understanding, tolerance and compassion. Join us and find creative ways of helping children and young people connect with their own unique, special value and sense of possibility about their futures — and reinforce how important it is that they honor these same qualities in others.

“Global Dignity’s efforts to inspire young people to lead a more dignified life depends on the amazing volunteers we work with around the world. They not only inspire and engage the next generation, but for each of us that get involved, it is also a life-changing and amazingly up-lifting experience. If you dream of creating a better future in your community, I encourage you to join our Global Dignity family, wherever you live.”
