Global Dignity began in one classroom with 30 students in 2006. Last year, over 1.1 million young people across more than 80 countries participated in Global Dignity activities last year. Be part of our growing movement by volunteering in your country.

Country Chair For Oman

As an advocate of social innovation for development, Eman specializes in education, employment and gender issues. She is currently engaged with teams delivering pro-growth initiatives to strengthen the Sultanates competitiveness at the Think Tank Unit in the Diwan of Royal Court. Eman has led and supported the establishment of several national initiatives, such as founding the “Omani Women’s Awareness Campaign with the Minister of Social Development, co-founded and implemented the national CEO Program at the Diwan of Royal Court, and as Head of Public Relations, established the successful launch of the regions first Royal Opera House in Muscat.

Having worked with international nonprofits like Oxfam and the Centre for Social Justice, Eman was selected in 2017 to represent Oman in UNESCO’s “Education for Sustainable Development” Programme, as a Young Arab Youth Leader, As a Global Shaper, active with the World Economic Forum, Eman founded “OmanVolunteers,” Oman’s first on-line volunteer matching platform.

Eman holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Social Policy from the University of York in the United Kingdom, and has completed Executive Programs at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and at Harvard Business School.
