Country Chair For Turkey
Murat Sarayli chaired YES, the Brussells based European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, during 2005-2006-2007, representing 40.000 members from sixteen countries. Assuming responsibilities at YES, Mr. Sarayli made the Lisbon Agenda, Europe’s strategic plan towards greater economic growth and job creation, the hallmark of his tenure In addition, he pledged his commitment to raising the voice and profile of small businesses and young entrepreneurs in policy circles, the media and the public at large.
During 2004-2008 he served as National Chairman of the Young Businessmen Association of Turkey (TUGIAD), worked on issues pertaining to entrepreneurship, social innovation, ethics in government, competetivenes and education. He is the co founder of Visa Free Europe movement.
Mr. Sarayli has been named as Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum in 2006. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Management, he attended to the ‘‘ Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21.st Century’’ program at Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government and “Foundations For Leadership in the 21st Century” program at Yale University, The Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.
