Greetings from the vibrant Tanzania! We are an extraordinary country with good hearted people and want to make a mark in the African continent. We hope through Global Dignity we will raise awareness in doing good for others and creating a ripple effect by encouraging those who’s lives we touch in some way paying it forward to others. Shekhar N. Kanabar

Country Chair For Tanzania

Shekhar is the CEO of Synarge group of companies. The group’s activities range from telecommunications consultancy, recycling of scrap batteries, spare parts distribution for heavy commercial vehicles in Tanzania and Zambia, logistics and real estate. These are among the few companies and other ventures will be focused on high social impact in areas such as renewable energy.

Shekhar is the Honorary Council for Lithuania and is active as a leader with the Young Presidents Organization | YPO in Tanzania. He serves on a number of corporate Boards in Tanzania, and joined as Global Dignity’s Country Chair in August, 2017. Shekhar graduated from Babson College in Massachusetts with A BS in Business Management and is currently pursuing his e-learning course from Vedanta Academy in Malavli, India and executive MBA from IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland.
